“Take control!”

How to use your Bruel&Kjaer professional Sound Level Meter in a more efficient way? How to maximise time-efficiency and measurement control?

Look no further. You found it.

Handy Sound is the perfect marriage of consumer application simplicity and versatility with professional measurement equipment accuracy. Flagship Sound Level Meters of manufacturer Brüel & Kjær 2250, 2250L and 2270 family instruments are some of the most powerful measurement tools worldwide. With compliance to all relevant standards they are used for various tasks including Vibration measurements when Vibration transducers are used.

“What would it be like if the instrument display could be available no matter where I am?”

Despite it’s modern form and versatility, the 2250/2270 cannot be used unattended. There is always a need for an operator to be present if a change is needed. But in order to check, operator needs to enter the measurement environment and interrupt the measurement. That is all OK if the measurement does need a change. But in other case, the measurement is interrupted and the operator has no choice but to exclude part of the measurement.

Taking it a step further, the operator can set the equipment for measurement and then choose whether to be present at the measurement or no. Full and complete control is always possible. Revolutionary use of the device’s display allows the 2250/2270 display to be merged with important hard-key buttons that are in the bottom of the screen making the solution complete.

Several applications would heavily benefit from using such a remote: Long-term measurements, Building acoustics, unattended measurements, process measurements, embedded measurements.

NOTE:
*No data can be transferred to the iOS device.
**Connection to the instrument is possible via WLAN or GSM-based modem. (We recommend battery operated TP-Link: TL-MR3040 that has the ability for 3G router type (specific country-based 3G service provider limitations may apply).
